Mac Data Recovery
A dead Mac with your life on it is a special kind of panic. We recover files from failing drives and dead Macs — and we’re honest about the odds before you spend a dollar.
Sound familiar?
- Your Mac died and the files weren’t backed up
- Accidental deletion, or a drive that was erased
- A clicking, grinding, or painfully slow hard drive
- An SSD that no longer mounts or appears in Disk Utility
- macOS asks to initialize a disk that used to just work
- An encrypted Mac that won’t boot (T2 or Apple silicon)
What we do
Every recovery starts with a free evaluation: we inspect the drive or Mac, determine what’s physically and logically wrong, and give you a written quote with our honest assessment of what’s recoverable. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
When recovery succeeds, you review the recovered file list with us before final payment, and everything is delivered on a new external drive you keep.
One rule above allIf a drive is clicking, grinding, or unusually slow, power it off and leave it off. Every read attempt can destroy data that a careful recovery would have saved.

Data recovery tiers
Tier is set by the free evaluation — and you approve the quote before any paid work.
| Tier | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Logical recovery — deleted files, formatting, corruption | from $299 |
| Electrical / firmware repair of the drive | from $399 |
| Advanced recovery — chip-off, degraded media | from $699 |
| External drive for your recovered files | from $49 |
If recovery isn’t possible, the evaluation costs you nothing. We’ll also set up Time Machine backups afterward, so this never happens again.
Data recovery FAQ
Should I keep trying to access the files myself?
No — every read attempt on a failing drive can make things worse. If a drive is clicking or slow, power it off and leave it off. That’s the single best thing you can do for your data.
Can you set up backups so this never happens again?
Gladly. We’ll configure Time Machine and help you choose a drive — a $59 service that saves the next emergency.
How will I know it worked before paying?
You review the recovered file list with us at the shop before final payment, and everything is delivered on a new external drive you keep.
